College Hill Custom Threads

I interned for College Hill Custom Threads during my senior year spring semester at Washington State University. When I began I was both excited and nervous to actually apply my learning in a professional setting. While at College Hill I was presented with client work and personal portfolio assignments to work on. I worked directly with the lead designer at the company, Brian Blee who taught me much about the process of creative designs for customers. Working with clients was a whole new process for me as a designer, creating for someone else required me to view my designs from an outward perspective to make sure it is what the client actually wants. From the intial first drafts and brainstorming designs, to the mock up of the apparel or product design and even learning to print, I gained firsthand experience in the custom apparel business.

Below are examples of the work I did for College Hill Custom Threads as well as some of my graphic work throughout my time at Washington State University. My work is an example of my skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
